Joshua Hale, President and Chief Executive Officer

Recently promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer, Josh has served the Big Shoulders Fund as Executive Director since 2005.  He previously served on the leadership team as the Director of Development and Public Relations for Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, a nationally recognized model for inner-city college preparatory education.  His professional and philanthropic involvement extends beyond Big Shoulders.  Of note, he was a 2009 Fellow in the Leadership Greater Chicago program and now serves on the Fellows Board for this same organization.  He was selected to participate in the Chicago Council on Global Affairs Emerging Leaders Program and remains on the Advisory Board for the program.  In 2010 he was recognized as one of Crain's Chicago Business’ 40 under 40 and he received the Padre Juan Foley Award from Jesuit Volunteer Corp in 2011.
